My Doll & Bear delivery and returns policy and service.

My Doll & Bear really hope you love your purchase and that it’s Always by your side. Please read these terms and conditions as they contain all kinds of important information, including deliveries, returns and security.

If you’re unsure about anything at all though, just pick up the ‘phone, or drop us an email and we’ll explain anything you’re not sure about!

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the My Doll & Bear Online shop.  Please print a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference.

Delivery – Great Britain:

We will endeavour to prepare your order for posting as quickly as possible, normally between 1 or 2 working days of receiving your order. We aim to delivery all goods within 5-7 days of order, if you require your order earlier, please get in touch and we’ll try to help.

Delivery Charges – UK:

  •  UK Orders under £20 costs £2.25
  •  UK Orders £20-£39 costs £4.25
  •  UK Orders £40-£150 costs £5.00
  •  UK Orders over £150 Free of Charge

About Royal Mail First Class:

First Class post is supposed to arrive the next day and most of the time it does. Please allow extra time for delivery by Royal Mail at Christmas.

If you have a safe place where a postman can leave a parcel please let us know by leaving a note in the comments box during checkout, so that this can be put on the parcel.

If your parcel does not arrive, the first thing we will do, is ask you to check at your local sorting office because sometimes for whatever reason, postmen don’t leave a card. Take some ID with you and in most cases missing parcels are found there.

International enquiries:

If you are ordering from outside the UK you will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties that are applicable in your state or country and we will not quote you for these, it will be your responsibility to make enquiries. Please contact: My Doll & Bear for prices and delivery quotations to all international locations.

Packing

At My Doll & Bear we’re mindful of our own impact on the environment, so, where we can we recycle boxes, cardboard and packing materials. We try to use packaging materials that can be easily reused or recycled, so please do so if you can. You might also find that some of your packaging has been used before – we hope you don’t mind!

Cancellation and Returns:

We hope you love whatever it is you’ve purchased from My Doll & Bear. However, if there is a problem we offer a 14-day no quibbles returns policy (or 31 days for overseas returns), which begins from the date you received the goods. If you contact us outside of the 14-day period we will not refund the order (unless defective/damaged).

All unwanted goods should be returned in a re-saleable condition as new and in the original unopened, undamaged box. This does not affect your statutory rights. For more information on your statutory rights please visit http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/. The cost for the return of goods is not the responsibility of My Doll & Bear but the purchaser.

When you send your item back to us we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement (excluding second hand goods, which are unique) or a refund.

If you request a refund we will refund the full price of the goods, including any mandatory delivery charges incurred.

You will receive notification via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.

If you do have to return something to us, please try and get in touch with us to let us know that you are returning something [use the contact details above] – this way we’ll be ready to deal with your situation. It would also be sensible just to keep a copy of your proof of postage.

Faulty or damaged goods:

Whilst we do our utmost to ensure that your goods reach you in perfect condition, if you do find a problem with your order on receipt, please let us know immediately. It is helpful to send us a photograph of the problem. In this situation we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible. You will be asked to return the damaged item to us and of course we will refund all postage costs incurred.

Non-delivered/missing goods:

If you are concerned that your order has not arrived and may be lost please let us know and we will confirm how the order was sent to you.
